The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) has officially initiated an anti-dumping investigation into certain carbon and alloy steel wire products imported from several countries, including Vietnam. The complaint was filed by Sivaco Wire Group, a leading Canadian steel wire producer established in 1949. CBSA is expected to issue a Statement of Reasons within 15 days (anticipated on May 7) to provide more details about the investigation. Within 90 days, the agency will release a preliminary determination (expected on July 21) and may impose provisional duties during this period.
