With a total estimated investment of over USD 10 billion and an annual production capacity of 16 million tons, the Hoa Sen Ca Na Steel Complex, developed by Hoa Sen Group, will become the largest steel plant in Vietnam upon completion.

Hoa Sen Group Joint Stock Company (stock code: HSG) has recently received approval from the Ministry of Industry and Trade to proceed with the Hoa Sen Ca Na – Ninh Thuan Integrated Steel Complex, which will have an annual capacity of 16 million tons. The project has also been added to the national master plan for steel production and distribution systems for the period up to 2025. The total estimated investment is more than USD 10 billion (over VND 230 trillion).

The project will be implemented in five phases from 2017 to 2031, divided into several stages. Once completed, it is expected to create around 45,000 jobs.
